Soccer Recap: Pentucket Regional Takes a Loss

If Pentucket Regional was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Triton Regional on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Pentucket Regional came up short against the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals on Thursday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Pentucket Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 191st, while Hamilton-Wenham Regional is ranked 46th).

Pentucket Regional has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-3 record this season. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, their win bumped their record up to 11-1-2.

Coming up, Pentucket Regional is taking a road trip to square off against Ipswich at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton-Wenham Regional, they will host Danvers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
