Volleyball Recap: Cle Elum-Roslyn's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cle Elum-Roslyn entered their tilt with White Swan on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 7th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cle Elum-Roslyn took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-9, 25-10.

Rachel Mendenhall paced Cle Elum-Roslyn's offense, picking up seven kills. Mendenhall got some help from Sofia Nicholson and her 12 assists. Sydney Brown controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Cle Elum-Roslyn's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for White Swan, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Cle Elum-Roslyn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against La Salle on the 25th. White Swan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
