McAllen has won four straight games at home, while McAllen Memorial has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The McAllen Bulldogs will host the McAllen Memorial Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

McAllen's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North 4-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McAllen Memorial). They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North on Friday. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while the Raiders are ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McAllen's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1. As for McAllen Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.
