Basketball Recap: Gresham Community Comes Up Short

Gresham Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt an 89-35 loss at the hands of the Three Lakes Bluejays. The Wildcats lost against the Bluejays in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 75-58 score last time.

Gresham Community's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Three Lakes, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Coming up, Gresham Community will face off against Tigerton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Three Lakes, they will challenge Crandon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejays' defense better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 51.5 points per game this season.
