Baseball Recap: Jackson City Find Success

Jackson City won the last time they faced Berea and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 6-3.

The team relied heavily on Preston Turner, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Bentley Tincher was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Jackson City's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Berea, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Jackson City will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on East Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Berea, they will challenge Buckhorn at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
