Volleyball Recap: Goleman Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Goleman entered their tilt with Belen Jesuit on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wolverines 3-0. This was payback for the Gators, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Goleman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-12, 25-18.

Branley Borrego paced Goleman's offense, picking up 14 kills. Borrego got some help from Carlos Cesar Delgado and his 36 assists.

Goleman now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Belen Jesuit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Goleman will be taking part in a tournament against Lake Brantley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belen Jesuit, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Cardinal Gibbons on the 18th.
