Morgan County had already won nine in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They came out on top against the Habersham Central Raiders by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2020.

Abby Dennard paced Morgan County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dennard got some help from Graycen Cawthon and her ten assists. Dennard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Morgan County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Habersham Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Morgan County will square off against Winder-Barrow at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Habersham Central, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against White County on the 7th.
