Volleyball Recap: Berryhill Triumphs

While Berryhill didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Salina Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chiefs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Berryhill was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

The win made it two in a row for Berryhill and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Salina, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Berryhill will face off against Locust Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Salina, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Okay at 4:00 p.m. on September 2.
