Marshall and Brennan are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but likely not for long. The Rams will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Marshall's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Marshall came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Harlan, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Marshall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Harlan are ranked 100th).

Meanwhile, neither Brennan nor O'Connor could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The Bears' goal came courtesy of Axton Parra, who's now up to nine this season.

Brennan's draw gives them a new season record of 7-8-3. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1.

Everything went Marshall's way against Brennan in their previous meeting back in January, as Marshall made off with a 4-1 win. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
