Football Recap: Hazel Green Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lee last Thursday, Hazel Green came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Fort Payne Wildcats on Friday, falling 38-12. The Trojans have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Hazel Green's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Fort Payne, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Hazel Green will welcome Southside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Payne, they will face off against Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Generals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
