Volleyball Recap: Concordia Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Concordia lost against Rock Creek back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Concordia might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Rock Creek: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up 12 kills. Roush got some help from Rylie Jessup and her 11 assists. Finally, Roush was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Concordia's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Rock Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rock Creek beat Concordia by a score of 2-0 later that day.
