Reagan came into Monday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Braddock Bulldogs on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bison have posted since October 4, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Reagan who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-9.

Their offense was headlined by Sabrina Bou and Valeria LaRosa, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Ivanna Carrillo and her 16 assists. Bou was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Reagan's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Braddock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Reagan and Braddock could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Bison (ranked 557th) will meet Florida Christian (ranked 31st) at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Braddock will square off against MAST Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (599 vs. 171).
