They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinal Mooney Cougars on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Marauders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Clearwater Central Catholic saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Rosado, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Clearwater Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Cardinal Mooney, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5.
