Basketball Recap: Spencer Center Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Spencer Center had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 42-37 victory over the School for Creative Performing Arts Raiders on Friday. Spencer Center has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw School for Creative Performing Arts, too.

Spencer Center's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-14. As for School for Creative Performing Arts, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spencer Center will head out to take on New Miami at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for School for Creative Performing Arts, they will face off against Shroder Paideia Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
