Basketball Recap: Urbana University Comes Up Short

Urbana University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-27 defeat at the hands of the Armstrong Trojans. If the Illineks were looking for revenge after losing 66-50 to them when the teams met back in December of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Urbana University's loss dropped their record down to 3-26. As for Armstrong, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Urbana University does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Armstrong, they will challenge Schlarman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Schlarman will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Armstrong surely won't give up without a fight.
