Volleyball Recap: Custer County's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Custer County waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Sidney Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cowboys, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Custer County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 27-25.

Ramsey Pryor paced Custer County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Pryor got some help from Allison Atwood and her 32 assists. Clea Rapson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Custer County's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sidney, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Custer County will face off against Fergus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sidney has already played their next contest (against Glasgow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
