Softball Game Preview: Harmony Eagles vs. New Diana Eagles

We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. New Diana took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Harmony, who comes in off a win.

Harmony's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Chapel Hill with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, New Diana's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Hughes Springs, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Diana's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-7-1. As for Harmony, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.
