Baldwinsville and Rome Free Academy squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Baldwinsville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Black Knights, falling 7-1. The Bees' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Baldwinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Rome Free Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Baldwinsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rome Free Academy, they will challenge Shenendehowa at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Black Knights 3.6, the Plainsmen 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
