Football Recap: Tylertown Chiefs vs. Hazlehurst Indians
Tylertown and Hazlehurst squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Tylertown had to settle for second. They took a 57-40 bruising from the Indians. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tylertown lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Keonnis Davis, who threw for 270 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 89 yards and one score. Jermaine Pittman was in the mix too, providing Tylertown with two touchdowns.
Hazlehurst got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Haines out in front who rushed for 129 yards on only 14 carries. Haines' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 129 rushing yards.
Tylertown's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Hazlehurst, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
