Football Game Preview: Wilsonville Wildcats vs. McNary Celtics + How To Watch

The Wilsonville Wildcats will face off against the McNary Celtics at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

McNary will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Wilsonville extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 35-0 win over Aloha. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Warriors are ranked 103rd).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wilsonville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevor Glos, who threw for 293 yards and four TDs while completing 79.3% of his passes. Keona Tam was another key receiver, picking up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Wilsonville proved: they limited Aloha to a paltry 1.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Riddick Molatore for the heroic effort on defense: he. Wilsonville didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.2.

Wilsonville better keep an eye on D'Sean Wynter. He was instrumental in McNary's win, rushing for 54 yards and a pair of scores. William Oglesby also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

McNary's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Wilsonville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
