There's no place like home for Kouts, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed past the Tri-Township Tigers to the tune of 71-21 on Friday. The Mustangs & Fillies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Tri-Township saw an underclassman step up: freshman Hector Osornio posted 14 points and four steals. Osornio is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Kouts' victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Tri-Township, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Kouts and Tri-Township are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Kouts will challenge Marquette Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Marquette Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.1 points per game this season. As for Tri-Township, they will take on Westville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westville also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 58.3 points per game.
