Logan has gone a perfect 7-0 against Athens recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Logan Chieftains will head out to challenge the Athens Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Logan is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Logan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-46 to Canal Winchester. While the Chieftains didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 12-5 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Athens, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They strolled past Wellston with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-45.

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Athens, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Logan strolled past Athens when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 46-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
