Volleyball Recap: Willow Canyon Comes Up Short

Willow Canyon saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Hamilton Huskies by a score of 2-1.

Jackson Blair paced Willow Canyon's offense, picking up ten kills. Blair got some help from Ben Perkins and his 19 assists. Rylan Hayes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Ben Tynan was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had eight digs and two assists.

Willow Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Hamilton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-8.

Willow Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Independence on the 28th. As for Hamilton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Ironwood on the 28th.
