It was a good run, but University unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 14-6 to the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bullpups earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

University's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Gonzaga Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. University is set to take on their familiar foe Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gonzaga Prep will square off against rival Cheney at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
