Harrison waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 on Tuesday.

Chase Gothrup looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Nolan Hodnett, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Kendrick Pena also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Harrison's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Lafayette Jefferson, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Harrison will head out on the road to square off against Lafayette Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they will welcome North Montgomery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
