Southern Boone came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mexico Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout. Considering Southern Boone have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Southern Boone's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three games.
