Basketball Recap: Drumright Takes a Loss

Drumright was the 102-74 winner over Olive when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Drumright Tornadoes were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 58-57 to the Olive Wildcats. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Drumright's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Olive, they moved to 3-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Drumright will be taking part in a tournament against South Coffeyville at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Drumright is facing South Coffeyville at the right time seeing as South Coffeyville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Olive, they will head out on the road to take on Hominy at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Hominy's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Olive has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
