Pueblo West (Colo.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 21 in the fourth quarter to seal a 28-0 victory over
Pueblo County (Pueblo, Colo.).
After taking the lead on a
Zac Drury touchdown pass to
Noah Usry in the first quarter, the Cyclones led 7-0 at the half.
A big 21-point fourth quarter helped Pueblo West secure the win. PW scored on a touchdown run by
Kamron Clough, a touchdown pass by Drury and a touchdown run in the quarter.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Cyclones came away with a 49-24 victory.
Pueblo County (0-2) goes up against Mitchell in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Pueblo West (1-0) locks horns with Rampart also in a non-conference game.
