            The Reed Raiders are taking a road trip to  take on the Douglas Tigers  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Reed has three straight  victories, Douglas has four straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
While Reed's  win against Elko wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Indians  3-2 on Friday. Three seems to be a good number for the Raiders as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
 Kannen Stenberg-Klamut looked comfortable as he  pitched 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Luke Goddard, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double. That  double marked the first that  he  hit this season.
Meanwhile, Douglas suffered their closest  loss since March 8th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Reno by a score of  3-1.
 Douglas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Blaine Bilderback, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Reed now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
