Softball Recap: Bradford Comes Up Short

Bradford fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Bartram Trail on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 7-6. The Tornadoes just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Bradford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taryn Flowers, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bartram Trail, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Bradford will head out on the road to challenge Fort White at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bartram Trail, they will welcome Palatka at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
