Soccer Game Preview: Woodbridge vs. Hylton

The Woodbridge Vikings will take on the Hylton Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodbridge will be strutting in after a win while Hylton will be coming in after a loss.

Woodbridge's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Potomac Senior by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for Woodbridge in their matchups with Potomac Senior: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Hylton's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Freedom last Thursday. Hylton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodbridge's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 2-1-2. As for Hylton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Woodbridge couldn't quite get it done against Hylton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
