Baseball Game Preview: South Grand Prairie Warriors vs. Martin Warriors

For the second straight game, South Grand Prairie will face off against Martin. South Grand Prairie is taking a road trip to take on Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Grand Prairie has three straight victories, Martin has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

South Grand Prairie is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since May 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Martin 6-4.

Isaac Rios was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruben Carranza, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14-1. As for South Grand Prairie, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6-2.
