Baseball Recap: Duncanville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Duncanville can now relate to. They fell 6-1 to the Midway Panthers on Saturday. The Panthers and Pantherettes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Davian Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That run was his first of the season.

Duncanville's loss dropped their record down to 16-15-1. As for Midway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

Duncanville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midway, they will take on Rockwall-Heath on Thursday.
