Baseball Recap: Forge Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to 15

Forge Christian entered their tilt with Prospect Ridge Academy on Monday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Miners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-1 on Thursday.

Forge Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carsen Hughes, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Hughes has posted since back in March.

Forge Christian's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
