Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Road Victories for Chicago Marshall

Chicago Marshall extended their road winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Charmarre Scott. The Chicago Marshall Commandos really took it to the North Grand Eagle Owls for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-18 win thanks in part to Scott, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played.

Chicago Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for North Grand, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

When Chicago Marshall and North Grand next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chicago Marshall will try to stop Mather's five-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Grand will square off against North Lawndale and their eight-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
