It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Cromwell Cardinals had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They snuck past the Timberwolves with a 57-51 win. The win was nothing new for Cromwell as they're now sitting on six straight.

Cromwell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jill Anderson out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Isabella Anderson was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Cromwell is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Ely, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.
