Basketball Game Preview: New Brunswick Zebra vs. Carteret Ramblers

The New Brunswick Zebra are taking a road trip to challenge the Carteret Ramblers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

New Brunswick is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 69 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Union on Friday. They were dealt a 52-17 defeat at the hands of the Farmers.

Meanwhile, Carteret was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Perth Amboy and fell 83-50. One positive for the Ramblers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Carteret's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for New Brunswick, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

New Brunswick came up short against Carteret when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 55-46. Can New Brunswick avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
