Greenwood won the last time they faced T.L. Hanna, and Danielle Oliver did her part to make sure it happened again. The Greenwood Eagles escaped with a win on Thursday against the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53 thanks in part to Oliver, who posted 27 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Her evening made it 14 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Cameron Oliver, who earned ten points. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

T.L. Hanna lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaitlyn Foster, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 boards. What's more, she also posted a 60% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Tamerah Wynn was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for T.L. Hanna, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Greenwood has already played their next game, a 39-27 victory against Woodmont on the 7th. As for T.L. Hanna, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-32 win against Easley on the 7th.
