Volleyball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey lost against Chase County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Longhorns. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Hershey ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Demi Damoude paced Hershey's offense, picking up 13 kills. Damoude got some help from Kenna Bringewatt and her 15 assists. Alexis Pinkerton and Ryleigh Melvin kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Chase County, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 18-12.

As of now, neither Hershey nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
