Basketball Recap: KHALI CELESTINE's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Washington-Marion over East Iberville

Washington-Marion was the 75-55 winner over East Iberville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Washington-Marion Charging Indians took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Iberville Tigers on Saturday.

Washington-Marion lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being KHALI CELESTINE, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was LANDON DUHON, who had 13 points.

Washington-Marion's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for East Iberville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.
