Volleyball Recap: Placer Wins Going Away Against Yuba City

Placer came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Yuba City Honkers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Placer walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Placer's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Yuba City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19 record this season.

Placer will welcome River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yuba City, they are taking a road trip to square off against Nevada Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
