Volleyball Recap: Stadium Tigers vs. Tahoma Bears

Stadium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Tahoma Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in October.

Stadium started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-9.

Tahoma was led to victory by Lyla Battey and Brooklyn Stafford. Battey had nine digs and one assist, while Stafford hit 80% for 12 kills and three blocks. Those 80% hitting percentage gave Stafford a new career-high.

Stadium's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Tahoma, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.

Stadium does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tahoma, they will take on Auburn Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
