Football Game Preview: Martha's Vineyard Regional Vineyarders vs. Sandwich Blue Knights

Martha's Vineyard Regional is 0-7 against Sandwich since November of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Vineyarders will square off against the Blue Knights at 6:00 p.m. Martha's Vineyard Regional will be strutting in after a win while Sandwich will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Martha's Vineyard Regional didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Cape Cod RVT, but they still walked away with a 33-28 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vineyarders.

Meanwhile, Sandwich came up short against Seekonk on Friday and fell 20-12.

Sandwich now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Martha's Vineyard Regional was taken down by Sandwich 44-7 in their previous meeting back in September of 2022. Can the Vineyarders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
