Football Recap: St. Bede Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Bede managed to slip by Dwight the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bruins took a blow against the Trojans on Saturday, falling 48-14. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, St. Bede had strong showings from Carson Riva, who rushed for 19 yards and two scores, and Gino Ferrari, who rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown. Those rushing touchdowns were Riva's first of the season.

St. Bede's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dwight, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Looking ahead, St. Bede will head out on the road to challenge Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Irish's defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Bruins' offense will have their work cut out for them. Dwight does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
