Tolar and Henrietta squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Tolar had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 3-2. The Rattlers' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Drake Owens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Hunter Michels made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Tolar's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Henrietta, the win got them back to even at 14-14-1.

While Tolar had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
