The Walnut Grove Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Wesleyan Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walnut Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Walnut Grove's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Loganville. The win continues a trend for Walnut Grove in their matchups with Loganville: they've now won four in a row.

Kweku Assan and Bailey Hamrick scored both of Walnut Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Wesleyan was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Berkmar could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Wesleyan's draw gives them a new season record of 1-3-1. As for Walnut Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Walnut Grove might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Wesleyan when the teams last played back in March of 2018. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
