Grand Blanc strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lakeland Eagles. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2016.

Grand Blanc's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lakeland, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Coming up, Grand Blanc will square off against Dow at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeland, they will host Walled Lake Northern at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
