Port of Los Angeles was the 2-0 winner over Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Polar Bears took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seawolves on Thursday. The Polar Bears' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Port of Los Angeles saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Saenz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Port of Los Angeles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Coincidentally, Port of Los Angeles and Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will both be playing Harbor Teacher the next time they take the field. The Seawolves will head out to face the Monarchs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Polar Bears will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
