Volleyball Game Preview: Strasburg Indians vs. Kiowa Indians

Strasburg will be taking part in a tournament against Kiowa at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Kiowa took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Strasburg, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Strasburg made easy work of Liberty Common and carried off a 3-0 win.

Strasburg never let Liberty Common on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Kiowa suffered their biggest defeat since September 27th on Friday. They came up short against Prairie, falling 3-0.

While Kiowa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-22.

Kiowa's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Strasburg, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.

Strasburg was able to grind out a solid win over Kiowa in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, winning 3-1. Will Strasburg repeat their success, or does Kiowa has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
