Volleyball Recap: Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS Comes Up Short

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Humboldt Wildcats, falling 3-0. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS was not able to make up for their defeat to Humboldt from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS' loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Humboldt, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.

Coming up, Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will face off against Algona at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Humboldt, they will host Hampton-Dumont at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
